The Synergy of Lokatekno along with UNPAD and Markplus in the Field of Education

On June 18, 2023, the Soft Launch of UNPAD Hybrid University was held. The event was attended by Ir. Priyantono Rudito, M.Bus, Ph.D (Hybrid University Committee and UNPAD Lecturer) and Diana Sri, Ph.D (Director of UNPAD Commercial and Investment Business Development Agency). It took place at the Grand Atrium, Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta, which coincided with the 11th Annual Jakarta Marketing Week.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid development of technology, new programs or breakthroughs are needed in order to support these challenges. Collaboration and synergy between the government and the private sector are needed to improve the quality of education amid these challenges.

Lokatekno together with UNPAD and Markplus Institute made a joint effort to address the challenges in education by accelerating the growth of UNPAD MOOC. This collaboration presents class features such as Public Service in Digital Era Class for State Civil Apparatus, Digital Branding for UMKM Class for UMKM owners, and Entrepreneurship-Leadership Class for students. 

What is MOOC?

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is an online learning program that was previously launched by Padjadjaran University on December 11, 2021. MOOC itself is a form of implementation of the UNPAD Hybrid University program and part of the UNPAD Learning and Upskilling Hub for Next Generation (UNPAD Luhung) platform.

UNPAD Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) was created to reinforce the learning and technology sector. The synergy between Lokatekno, UNPAD, and MarkPlus Institute in accelerating Massive Open Online Course is strongly committed to ensure affordable and convenient access to education while still prioritizing quality for the community. 

Future Expectations

This new breakthrough in education aims to expand access to education with the aim of ensuring all levels of society can receive education equally. The presence of classes with different focuses is also expected to facilitate the community in exploring abilities according to their fields of interest and potential. 

Lokatekno together with UNPAD and MarkPlus Institute are also expected to create young entrepreneurs who can maximize the potential of natural resources and human resources within the country through entrepreneurship classes. This collaboration will continue to be carried out in order to face the challenges of this evolving digital era and prepare the next generation who excel in the field of technology and digital.
